Our lab is dedicated to developing advanced optical imaging and measurement technologies, with a particular focus on their applications in the IT and biotechnology sectors. We are actively enhancing optical imaging capabilities, including super-resolution and live-cell imaging, through both hardware innovations and AI-driven image processing and analysis software. These technologies are also integral to developing measurement and inspection equipment essential for the semiconductor and display manufacturing industries. Additionally, in the fields of biology and medicine, we investigate the nanoscale structures and dynamics of cells and tissues, as well as organelle interactions, to unravel the mechanisms underlying life processes. In biophotonics, we explore the use of nanoparticles for biomedical diagnostics and therapeutic applications.
